Regional Report

January 2014

This report has been prepared to assist organisations in the Barwon South West Region to identify risks caused by future extreme weather events and changes to the climate. It should not be read as an adaptation strategy or a definitive reference on extreme weather events for the Region. Instead, it should be interpreted as a robust process to examine Council’s operational risks caused by such events. Following this report, regional projects will be developed and delivered by councils and partner organisations in the Region that will build resilience to reduce the severity and impacts of such events.

This project was funded with the support of the Victorian Government under the Victorian Adaption and Sustainability Partnership..
