Vulnerability refers to the degree to which the Region is susceptible to changes in the climate and its potential impacts. The components of vulnerability include a combination of the following aspects – exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity, coupled with the potential impacts of a changing climate (refer to Figure 6).
